This custom built home features many unique features. The homeowners wanted to take full advantage of the wooded land. Bob was careful to remove as few trees as possible. A screened-in porch that connects to the outer decks allows the family to enjoy the outdoors.
The kitchen was designed with a 'bump out' in the kitchen so that the homeowners have a full view of their property while working at the sink area. Along with the 'bump out', the kitchen also features an island with a granite top and a well laid-out design to make the flow of the kitchen efficient. The house features a staircase that was custom built on site. The head room needed for the basement stairs under the main staircase demanded a precision job.
The house also featured an oversized garage with basement access. There is a central vacuum system in the home. The homeowners also enjoy a first floor laundry. The homeowners wanted a shaker-style of trim and the unique doors and trim in the house achieved this.
Bob worked with the homeowner on area where they could save money by doing some of their own work. The painting and staining, as well as the carpeting were done by the homeowner.
